Every year the MORE Gives Foundation puts on a Christmas Fundraiser. This year, the MORE Gives Foundation helped produce a fundraiser hosted by MORE Realty that raised $10,000 to provide Christmas to 3 families through the Good Neighbor Center. The money was raised through selling holiday card and calendar sets, hosting a raffle, & through individual donations. Thank you to our amazing volunteers and those who donated and made this fundraiser possible!

The MORE Gives Foundation wanted to provide an opportunity for people to give back to the community without having to provide financially. With the help of America Red Cross, we were able to host a blood drive on Wednesday, April 6th. Through the donations of MORE Realty agents and staff members, we were able to collect 21 units of blood. That blood will go to helping up to 63 members of our local community! Thank you to all who participated in our blood drive. Your donations make a difference. In Fact, each donor can save up to 3 lives. The need for blood donations is constant. To learn more about how your blood donations can make a difference or to find a blood drive near you visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive   In February 2022 several Ukrainian cities were invaded and attacked by Russian military. Amid this invasion, many Ukrainian civilians have been displaced, injured, imprisoned, lost homes, lost loved ones, and in some instances lost their lives or have otherwise been put in danger. Many were looking for a way to support those impacted by the war in Ukraine. The MORE Gives Foundation established the Ukrainian Relief Fund in an effort to provide a way for people to help. The MORE Gives Foundation established the Ukrainian Relief Fund with a unique implementation and involvement directly with people in Ukraine. By chance, the son of the directors of the MORE Gives Foundation lived in Ukraine for two years with a group of friends who established a network of what we call “runners”. These runners are feet on the ground in different Ukrainian cities that are taking donated funds and purchasing desperately needed food, medical supplies, and other items that are delivered directly to individuals and families in need. This is unique implementation in that these funds have an impact directly and almost as soon as they are sent. We are helping raise funds for these runners to obtain the needed food and supplies for Ukrainian civilians. In addition to this effort, funds raised by MORE Gives are being channeled to other organizations that can deliver food and supplies directly into the country. By virtue of how this fund is set up through the MORE Gives Foundation, over 97% of all the funds are able to be used for their intended purposes. Very little is used for processing and overhead. It’s incredible to see that the connections and relationships that this group of friends created years ago are now coming back to benefit people in Ukraine in such a meaningful and impactful way. It’s a labor of love as those here in the U.S.A. coordinate with those in Ukraine while on opposite sides of the globe. The MORE Gives Foundation, a non-profit organization* created by Paul and Denise Knighton, MORE Realty founders, hosted a shred fundraiser last week that benefitted the charity, Good Neighbor Center. The shred-fundraiser gave MORE Realty agents and community members the opportunity to participate in a good cause while networking with others in the community. 100% of the donations were matched by MORE Gives and donated to the Good Neighbor Center. With the help of community members and MORE Realty agents, MORE Gives was able to raise $6,878 for the Good Neighbor Center. The money raised will help children and families in the community who need support. MORE Gives chose to benefit the Good Neighbor Center because of what the charity stands for. “The Good Neighbor Center serves families experiencing housing insecurity with empathy and equity.
